As I near graduation with my MS in AI in Business, I’ve been reflecting on last year’s #SimonStrong Community Builder award at Simon Business School. It was a humbling reminder of why I value community—being true and supportive, even when it’s just listening to a struggling classmate. The award, given for values like integrity and humility, showed me that strength isn’t about accolades; it’s about lifting others up, something I strive to do every day.
After the ceremony, Dean Sevin thanked me for strengthening Simon, which felt deeply appreciated. To celebrate, I invited Professor Dan Keating for lunch he’s been a mentor and a guide throughout my journey at Simon Business School. We talked about how this spirit and drive can continue to fuel my future in product management or consulting. Our conversations, lives within me, inspiring me to prepare for the next chapter, hoping to bring with me the same humility and team spirit to my career.
