Urban OS

UrbanOS is my personal venture in India. It comes from a question I keep returning to: how can a property owner understand the options in front of them before committing time and money?

The idea

Property decisions span several kinds of information: what is known about a site, which local rules may apply, what could be designed and which market assumptions shape the financial picture. Those pieces often live in different documents and conversations.

I am exploring a way to bring them together so an owner can compare alternatives, see the assumptions and know which questions still need a professional answer.

The first focus

Delhi and Gurugram are the initial focus. The work starts with understanding a specific owner’s decision, the information they can provide and the output that would help them move forward.

Potential workflows include gathering property facts, comparing design alternatives and examining feasibility scenarios. These are areas of exploration, not a promise that every feature is available.

Where it stands

UrbanOS is in research and discovery, with exploratory prototypes. The next step is to validate the customer problem and evidence requirements before further development.

Illustrative rules, designs and financial assumptions in a prototype are not verified approvals or investment outcomes. Any useful service will need reliable sources, visible uncertainty and qualified professional review.

Why I care

This is a personal venture alongside my professional work. It gives me room to investigate a problem in India, challenge my assumptions and shape a business around what people actually need.
